  • Apr 07, 2020  If I restore my laptop to factory settings will I lose my Microsoft Office? To mess with it. The only thing important on my lap top is my MS office, the rest is already on my desktop. How do I restore the lap top but still keep my MS office? Yes you will lose Office, and all of your other applications and personal data files.
  • I made a few changes and did my last save and the program crashed while saving and corrupted the whole file so I lost all my work. I managed to remake some of it but it was not the same as my initial attempt and I was gutted. That was exactly when I designed the backup methods I use still to this day.
  • Jun 02, 2014 Question: Q: does erasing all data on one device affect other devices? I want to erase all the data on my iphone so I could restore it from icloud. I was wondering if erasing all the data on the phone will affect the ipad on the same icloud account.

Make sure your Mac or PC is updated. If you're using iTunes, make sure you have the latest version. If you can't access a computer and your device still works, you can erase and restore your device without a computer. If you want to save the information on your iPhone, iPad or iPod, make a backup. Go to Settings your name iCloud, tap Find My iPhone, then turn it off.
