The app has not yet been updated to use the full resolution of the 10.5 inch iPad. It’s still a scaled up version of the 9.7 inch iPad. This is strange, especially given that pretty much all other Apple apps have been updated. GarageBand itself is fabulous for music creation. All of that started to change last month when I bought a 10.5-inch iPad Pro. Although Apple’s tablet doesn’t restore the glory of my old setup, its hardware and software turn music creation into a low-key activity.
