SIMPLE PROFESSIONAL RECORDING ON MAC, PC AND IPAD

Jul 22, 2014 Hi, I have just purchased a Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 for use with Ableton. When i got it home i connected my monitors up and connected the usb to my macbook, span up ableton and It all worked perfectly through my monitors etc. I bought a focusrite scarlett 18i20. I installed the drivers and everything (i have a Mac OS 10.7.5). So i selected the right i/o in my sound preferences and i went out of the interface through the headphone 1/4' to a sony micro hi-fi component, but i can't get anything to even play, in youtube the videos won't start playing and in itunes the songs won't start playing either. I tried using. Jan 19, 2017  I bought a Rode mic and a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 and installed it to my mac and it worked fine on garageband for like 20 minutes until I plugged in my headphones into my com then it stopped working. I can't figure out the problem, everything is installed, the computers input is correctly on the scarlett as well as garageband. May 04, 2017  Ableton does not recognize Asio Focusrite driver Hi, I have a focusrite saffire 6 usb sound card, and I've always worked with Ableton and the sound card to perfection. However yesterday I turned on the computer and opened the program to work, but apparently Ableton no longer recognizes the Asio driver of the sound card even though I have not.

Focusrite Scarlett Solo Mac Ableton Live Not Recognized Windows 10

i am wondering if anyone is familiar with the focusrite scarlett 18i20 interface? it has its own software that I'm using for my headphone mix. all I'm trying to do is get my click track from ableton to only be in my headphone mix and not the FOH. i can't seem to get the click to only go to my headphones. even if i make a return track i don't know the routing to send it to my headphones. supposivley track 7/8 and 9/10 are for the headphone mixes but when i set the return track for those outputs I'm not getting anything. I'm still learning a lot and would appreciate any advice y'all have! thanks!!!
